A Contest For High School Students

Enter for a chance to win a set of NJ Devils tickets AND complimentary wisdom teeth removal before you start college – courtesy of Riverside Oral Surgery: Official Oral Surgeons of the New Jersey Devils!

WHO (is eligible):

Graduating high school seniors, from anywhere in New Jersey. You do not have to be a current patient of Riverside Oral Surgery to participate.

HOW (do I participate):

Step 1: Write approximately 100-150 words about yourself OR record a 2-3 minute video about yourself (See details on what to include in your submission in the next section!) Step 2: Follow @riversideoralsurgery AND @bloodytoothguy on Instagram

WHAT (to write/speak about):

Tell us what college you’ll be attending, why you picked that school, what you plan to study, what you are most excited about college, and what you are sad to leave behind.

WHERE (will my procedure take place if I win):

One winner will be chosen for each service area (Bergen, Morris/Essex, and Middlesex). We have offices in River Edge, Westwood, Englewood, Livingston, Chatham, West Orange, West Caldwell, Edison, and Warren. We will coordinate to find a convenient office for each winner. The winners will also receive a set of (2) tickets to an NJ Devils game at the Prudential Center, located in Newark, NJ. The date of the game is to be determined.

WHEN (do I need to enter by):

The contest will be open from February 1 – March 31, 2023. Winners will be announced in April on the @riversideoralsurgery Instagram account. (We suggest you get your wisdom teeth extracted earlier in the summer so you’ll be ready to start your new adventure when school starts!)

WHY (should I participate):

Why not? It’s easy, college is expensive, and you can save your parents some money (and help us spread some love on social media). The value of the procedure ranges from $2,425–4,710 depending on case complexity. You can also enjoy a Devils game while home from college come fall or winter break!

CONTEST DETAILS: Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay on top of the contest information. We will need to set winners up for a consultation and x-ray which will also be done at no charge, so be assured there is no bait and switch here. We will ask that the winners post and tag us on their social media channels so that we may reshare. The procedure will be scheduled at the winner’s requested time and date, if available. Surgery must be completed by 9/1/2023. If the winner has insurance, we will notify the insurance carrier of the adjusted rate. Winners/guardians will be required to sign a release to allow us to post/repost on social media.
