Dr. Theodore Niebloom is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has provided exceptional care to his patients for over 30 years. Dr. Niebloom received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and then went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the distinguished Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Niebloom has spent his career serving the communities of Essex and Morris counties. He primarily practices in his West Orange location and has served as the Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for the past 12 years. Dr. Niebloom is also an attending in the department of Oral and Maxillary Surgery and previously served as the Chief of the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In addition to practicing the full scope of dental alveolar surgery, Dr. Niebloom has an extensive background in treating maxillofacial and craniofacial deformities. For the past 30 years he has been an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Attending for the NJ Institute of Craniofacial Surgery at RWJ Barnabas Health Center.
For the entirety of his career, Dr. Niebloom has shown commitment and compassion to his patients and the dental community resulting in being selected as a New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist every year since its inception in 2002.
Dr. Niebloom is an active member of many professional societies including the New Jersey Dental Association, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, The American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, The American Dental Society, and The Essex County Dental Society. Dr. Niebloom’s experience and reputation make him a welcome addition to the Riverside Oral Surgery team.
