Dr. Kenneth Press is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with decades of experience delivering exceptional surgical care to patients throughout New Jersey. Known for his calm presence, clinical precision, and thoughtful approach, Dr. Press has built a career rooted in trust, leadership, and consistently excellent outcomes.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors from Dickinson College, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Dental School, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Dr. Press completed his General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center and went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the East Orange Veterans Administration Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in hospital-based and complex surgical care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Press has been a respected leader in both clinical and academic settings. He previously served as Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Morristown Medical Center and remains actively engaged in advancing the specialty. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Dentists, and a long-standing member of the New Jersey Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Press is equally committed to organized dentistry and mentorship, having served on the Executive Board of the Tri-County Dental Society of New Jersey and as its Past President. His dedication to patient care and clinical excellence has earned him recognition as a New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist every year since 2005. He has also served as an Oral Surgeon for the New York Jets, a role that reflects the confidence placed in his expertise at the highest levels.
